Yea Keahi, saved a drowned speed boat that got sent to the bottom of the river from the rain,we managed to tie a snach strap to it and literaly dragged it to shore with a large size zodiac, then we tied the floating restaurant to jetty piers with a heep of steel cable and 'd' shackles, then drank piss untill high tide at 7.30pm friday night...the restaurant came within inchs of slipping of the slide piers....got wet on the outside and totally soaked on the inside from drinkiing till high tide.....Leaff is there now salvaging things from the office that went under last night...tonight is the real test with a high at approx 8.30pm 600mm predicted higher than last tide....the drama's will unfold at about 9.00pm on Gympie Terrace...p.s hope it creates a good set up to kite at the mouth as the'frying pan' is almost non existant now... so much for the rare species of birds that council reckon were being disturbed by kiters the water is 10m into the mangroves
