Hey mate. I am glad you've managed to fix it. As Cb said, no need to pull out the entire bladder. But next time, if this happens at the very end or close to the end of the bladder, you can "roll and glue" a bit inwards without having to repair the hole itself. I've done this many times and works great. Just use a good glue though. I've tried Tarzan Grip and found it doesn't stretch as well as some other glues and seems to work on small holes. Anything larger, you'll need something more bonding and stretchy like StormSure from the UK - not cheap.
Hey..talking about repairs..intrigued by what u said r.e length of tarzangrip..agreed small holes(&valves) or patches cut from other bladders.. but i've found (and been out pretty far on for hours on probably two foot patches).. i found out if the cuts are absolutely perfect and its stretched when u glue it on perfect after a clean (i use acetone) its fine when back in LE..had a kite like that it lasted for two years i was pretty amazed by the 'TG' success and it only failed in another area (we made one inflate deflate hole&blocked off the deflate with another tarzan&bladder patch..so eventually the bladder started popping through the deflate hole as it wasn't blocked off properly)....so I love it..nb obviously 'stormsure'
P.s i gotta say i was taught this

However that's interesting what u said ..thanx
Rolwidit yes end of seam needs the woolworths fish bag vacuum sealer as said above....or even that 'roll'.. unless you are really lucky and precise..
Hope it worked out for u...clever to ask

..and yes tearaids are fails on blowouts etc and pointless..and as cbulota said get its first time before it becomes worse with all of your failed attempts..
Hope it worked out for u
