Hi!
I am from Argentina and I will travel to Australia on december 2015, my plan is to stay about an year there.I am still learning the thing so I would like you to recommend me some windy flat spots where preferently not be eaten by sharks,jellyfish or crocs, or at least, places where possibilities are at least lower than others.
Is there any place near Sidney to kite?

In all seriousness, don't worry about the sharks, they're always around. Worry about being safe out there and not hurting yourself while kiting. Much greater chance of that happening.

though the big crocs are moving into our warmer waters now and keeping the shark numbers down.
You should be alright. It's best not to fall into the water though.
Try and avoid splashing too much.

Come up to Noosa in Queensland ,we have a good conditions with shallow flat warm water ,no crocs and hopefully wind

Go to Shark Bay WA, 30-40 knots and gusty many days, like every day.........you'll love it....it's too kn windy even for the sharks.

As bjw pointed out. Botany Bay in general, Dolls point to be specific, is probably the best place to go as a beginner. In terms of hazards I'd say worry the most about launching and landing your kite (and watching out for other people doing the same), staying away from fixed obstacles (such as rock groins, boat markers, trees etc.) and overall kite safety (not going too close to other people and not getting dragged too far down wind). Sharks, crocs, jellys, octopus, crabs, jetskis and other less intelligent marine life are not a major concern. They don't bother you if you don't bother them. And of course, don't go body dragging after your board for 30 minutes straight. Go back to the beach and have someone else fetch your board. You don't want to go around looking like shark bait for too long =)

Just looking at the the forecast for tomorrow, NSW Metro says southerly 20knot building over the afternoon to SSE (22knots). I've got two good sessions (one old bar, one dolls point) under my belt where I feel like i've got on top of basic riding, even a couple of turns not necessarily staying upwind.

Have heard kurnell goes ok in a southerly. Any one able to offer some advice here?
