just putting a question out there to those who are flying the Slingshot T3. im deciding whether to get one or not. i know a guy who flys them and he makes them look great and gives no bad reports on them so im just getting a second opinon or 5. i have done a lot of reading on them. i had my lesson on them and think they are sweet so yer.

how good are they?
is there anything bad about them?
would they suit a beginner?

looking forward to reading your comments.

awesome kites.. cant say enough good things about them.. massive wind range. i take my 11 from 12-25+.. the bar pressure is a little more than other kites but that is great for learning. it lets you know where the kite is even when being pumbled by waves.. the relaunch is better than any kite i have flown and the new under the bar safety is second to none imo.. and value for money is awesome. when i bought my 9 mtr about 6 months ago it was $500 cheaper than the other brand i was looking at. but with the $$$ the way it is now there a bit more expensive.. basically its as good and safe and strong as any other kite on the market imo.. that's why so many schools use them.

It was one of the kites I had in mind before buying my first one but a lot of negative opinions put me off, if you did a lot of reading (as I did) you had to come across such reports, in the end I got 09 Waroo but if I was you I would think seriously about REV.
tHAts my 2 cents.

Jake!!!!

What's doing.

If you learned on the T3 and have any doubts about it, contact another kite store regarding demoing one of their kites; don't let them pressure you into buying right there and then though.

Otherwise, there are several brands which are very well known for their quality material and make, and ones with a bit more of a tarnished reputation.

This is just my opinion, I do sell them, but I aslo do like to ride my 9M demo kite.
Its a good kite, it is very well made, the bar and lines are very good quality the safety system is excellent especially for begginers.
The kite can be converted from 1:1 to 2:1, I think they all ship as 2:1 and in my opinion the kite performs and fells better in 1:1, in this config it has less bar pressure and a more "natural" or progressive depower, and still with not too light bar pressure. My 9m relaunches super easy, just turn the bar.
Good price too.
