Hey guys bought slingshot T3 9m second hand unfortunately it did'nt come with a manual or set-up configuration for 2:1 and 1:1 ratio does anyone know where i can go to view video links of setup so I can see for myself how it's supposed to look ive tried utube but cant seem to find any good footage

Use it in 2:1 only, hopefully it is set up like that now. In 1:1 it does not handle well in stronger winds and in my opinion is dangerous and difficult to use if its wind and in 1:1, also harder to relaunch in 1:1

Look on the Slingshot website. When I changed mine over from 2:1 to 1:1 thats where I got my information from.

The instructions were poor at best though and it did take a few attempts to get it right.

I found the kite to be better on 1:1 than 2:1. It was faster, more responsive and all in all had a better feel to it. Just my opinion.

-edit- If you are just learning then leave it on 2:1 untill your going upwind at least

I have had a T3 for 2 years now ride only 2:1 it's great, great relaunch, responsive, massive depower, but also high end performance. Just the other day I was out in 25 gusting to 30 knots on my 9m handled great. Good hang time as well. All round great kite for me to learn on.
