Fuel is certainly not a 'good wind range' kite.
The four strings just attach on the corners, so your angle of attack change is about as limited as you can get.
C-kites in general are crappy when they're underpowered, but just awesome when you get them fully lit.
Hmm I disagree with the wind-range situation. I have a SSFuel 11m and I am able to mow the lawn with it in hmm about 11-13knots. But yeah 18+ knots and they excel dramatically! Love the Fuels.
Yet on a flysurfer sonic, or a big ozone edge, you would be jumping decently in 13 knots, and still able to hold it in 25knots.
Hence the comment on the small wind range of the fuel.
I find it very hard to believe you can hold ground on an 11m fuel in 11knots, unless you're in butter flat water with the tide going the right way. (which are rare conditions for most people)
