Funny!i've had the opposite experience...interesting post though
I find them a lot less intrusive they are a lot lower don't bang about scarily like fast moving windsurfers.they seem to be unable to get themselves out of situations so quickly and efficiently..unless they are super brilliant but I've only seen a few of those..so I have a lot more respect and humility for them.i love it when I end up at a beach and there are ten foilers.this may change though when they are all brilliant
if you are referring to an experience in ningaloo recently the foiler was v upset with a perth kiter 'cramming in their two weeks'..as the kiter failed to see the foiler upwind..obviously the foiler had right of way as was upwind and was going first.perhaps 'not seen' because they are so tiny
..to a kiter! But to be honest that would be a cr*p excuse(not seeing them)..it simply shouldn't happen
they seem a lot more independent on the water don't hold Hands..clog up or stay in packs..don't short tack and don't hog*!

in short I feel we as kiters have the ability to be a lot more aware and that is *our* responsibility....
..yes they can't see as much as us unless they have a window through the wing or it's a size that can be lifted etc..hence why we should see them!. and if they are upwind which should be soon much easier for all# of them(sharper tacks etc..)....it's their wave...or visa versa..
