Definitely kites.... It is different depended on servicing/access to the franchise owners. Cape town for example ...very high second hand value for cabrinha kite with Grant, cabrinha Africa importer,, doing a great job for the last 15 years in helping people out even when they did not buy from him for cabrinha.

What about ozone, north, core, Naish, etc in Australia?

Definetly comes down to your area bro. For instance, A liquid Force kite is pretty easy to sell in brisy area because they are popular there due to high sales but try and sell one in northern rivers, good luck to you. Just kinda goes with whats most popular.
also depend on models right,
Ozone reo will sell second hand very well but an ozone enduro not as much(yet) as its not as popular, though I expect this will change soon.

cab switchblade... if you buy second hand (maybe 2 years old), use for a year of two you can probably sell for almost what you brought it for provided you dont bang it up. very high turnover of this model in the buy and sell section.

As a buyer wouldnt you just buy a 2 year old Cab rather than a 4 year old Cab if they are the nearly the same price?

Or is this stat just more about the intelligence of the buyers?

From my personal experience, in the start of 2015 I bought a second hand 2013 that had a repair so talked the seller down to $800. Rode it for a year and decided that the 12m size didnt suit me and sold it to a dude for what I pad for it. It has alot to do with the intelligence of buyers and sellers but these kites are also in high demand second hand for learners etc

Supply/demand - my thoughts are that is hasmoreto do with the timing of when you want to buy/sell.It's a relatively small market and effected by a few people selling the same brand and/or size at once, seasons etc.. the new 2019 gear will be out soon.

Buy from townsville
they impulse buy up there
blow up on the beach and watch trees all day, a 2007 kite generally has had 2 hrs use, usually come with stains on canopy, not from water use

Yeah he has had to rescue my board heaps of times. I ride a 138cm which ironically is the same height as you.
Nobody emails you telling you things though, dont try tell us you have friends.
Catering corps sounds interesting, is that where you 'served' ?
Or have you always been interested in doing what the bigger boys tell you to do?
Speaking of which, wheres my gluten free double soy organic free range latte honey?

Why hasn't anyone said Buzz? Probably maybe definitely best kites with the best bar out right now. The lines have great resale value after your mrs castrates your for buying such an awesome kite from the ultimate pimp.

Buzz not really a global brand like the others to compare. Lee doing a lot of work to promote but I guess it will take time. Same goes for eleveight or whatever the new best kites are called as they are newly launched in market V1.

Cabrinha, in my opinion, have best overall resale value in Australia and many other countries... ignoring regions ;-) I've struggled to sell my Core kites, been on Core for the last 7 years, even though they are in very good condition. My previous Cabrinha kites were pretty easy to sell at a good rate. Strangely my brother struggled to sell his Ozones in Perth (2 years old) but I think they also tend to have a great resale value in Oz.

Theres yr problem right there, great resale value, what is that. It only exists if someone wants to buy the kite.

All kites have poor resale.

Unless you are the buyer.
