A Post to the kiwis on the forum.
I'm looking to head to Whangarei for Easter and want to know if it's worth taking the kiting gear??? End of April??? What da ya reckon??

easterlies come in infrequent cycles but you can still ride in the harbour in sw anyway, and if there is an easterly flow the spots are sick
