I've never seen it on my other kites I fly and was curious y this set up had a extension on only the outter lines , dose anyone else run this type of set up on a rrd

Im pretty sure its just standard mate, the bridles on the middle lines are quite long so its probably just to keep it all equal. I have been riding with mine on all season and the kite works sweet, so don't stress mate I'm sure it has a purpose so i would just leave them on.
