Ordered some in for stock as soon as I saw them in the Ronstan newsletter and on here.

More details and mounting pics here...

This is how kite pulleys should be designed!!!
They can be fitted to any existing kite, but you may need to make some spliced slings to suit your particular kites bridle design.
Splicing 3mm amsteel or similar line is not difficult and the loops can be hand sewn.
Here is a good link on hand sewing and splice finishing.

Those pulleys look awsome. It would be a bit pricey to replace all pulleys on a kite such as an ids though($160). With this kind of pulley now on the market, any new kite design (with pulleys)that does not use them is being negligent IMO.

They look like the business, stronger, failsafe and self centreing.

I hope they come as standard equipment on 2010 pulley bridled kites, broken pulleys are bloody dangerous.

I'd order some, but I don't need any for Ozones

Given that Naish use Ronstan pulleys on the 2:1 kite bars, I wouldn't be surprised to see these Orbits on their 2010 range.

pulleys are pointless. most good kites are pulley free. ozone the better of the naish and slingy models etc.

No, they come bare, like almost all pulleys, because the applications and methods of rigging are almost endless.
