Just a reminder to all you eager beavers who are desperate to kite.....I have had a kite spin around 180 and take me up fast near trees at Attadale....most SE locations in Metro are very unpredictable....not worth the risk to you or others esp. the learners....watching the tennis instead...or go further afield.

Haha Paul, yep it was a Cab with which I had the scare....had a good couple hours yesterday....Tues. and Wed. look good.

yeah i was at woodies today way overpowered on my 11m in gusty wind and it there wasnt much southerly in it either. i had to crash to slow down a few times and the only thing downwind is the rocks

I realised it was just stupid and came home

Yeah woodies today had a gust difference of up to 15 knots. Almost impossible to deal with on large kites.
