just heard of this company and thought I'd check it out. Im sure they've probably been around for a while, but im sure its a good discussion.check the vid.... some pretty cool gear they make!

Im surprised their competitors arent getting in on similar ideas already.

Dakine has released the C1 (~~http://www.kitepower.com.au/dakine-c1-harness.html~~) which is quite similar but a bit cheaper. Both are great though the Engine is worth the money. I've been testing our demo out and it's sweet! No riding up at all.

Wonder if the 'hinges' on the sides of the DaKine are to get around any sort of Patent that Ride Engine might have on the stiff back idea?

Its funny they patented a stiff back as my ancient Cab harness had a solid stiff back.

Yeh really? Didn't know that anyone had done the rigid back before Coleman B?

Or, are you saying your old Cab gave you a stiff back?

The solid back panel wasnt as large as the Engine, but the old cab was still my best harness Ive had yet by far.
