We do loads of bladder repairs in store from revolving, repairing major bursts and also manufacturing new bladders.
We often get customers bring in valves valves they have "glued" on themselves come in and ask us to fix the failed repair attempt. It is such a massive job removing all the old glue (if you even can), that we don't recommend using glue. If you get it right first time, sweet as a nut, if you fail, it will be an expensive repair.
we charge $50 to remove, replace valve and re-insert struts into their casing and leak test. To do a leading edge is $100 to remove and re-install, plus whatever valves need replacement. It's time consuming when done properly but can be expensive. Often better to buy an OEM bladder. It's cheaper and quicker.

Yeah exactly. At 3-4 hunsky to fix it's cheaper to buy a new bladder or learn how to do it yourself..
Especially when the kites not even worth that cause of it's age which is why the valves delaminate. But can also be from being left in a hot car or environment to cause the double sided tape that they're attached with to give up on ya..
Sometimes it's cheaper to get a new bladder but they'll do the same in time. That's where glueing is better..
Oh.. And I have no affiliation or income from fixing my kites, just passion for enjoying a beer...And helping kiters to enjoy the stoke, or just be bamboozled and put your hand in ya Wallet! Believe you need a new kite and you'll be a better man... And kiter you might think...But with no real cred..

This thread does the rounds so much most car salesman would call it "another lost leader"...
