Design wise... The sharktooth thing doesnt make much sense... It should be rounded to prevent lifting... Ive noticed they have even cut the tips off the trianlges that are coming up... If i bought one i would grab some teeny nail scissors and i would put a thin piece of cold cold metal under the lifted tips then heat of the teeny nail scissors and make little circles out of the tips then remove the cold thin metal barrier and glue the new rounded edges down with just a tiny little dab. The stitching on the shark tooth tips is also irregular. Must be a real pain in ass stitching those.

Theres quite a famous paraglider company called advance argueably number 1 brand. And they have these little winglets that are like a little extra cell that protrude out of the topskin like wee little ears. The idea is that they prevent vorteces from forming or something but the running joke is that every year these trademark little protrusions get smaller and smaller every year....

I hope these shark teeth become worn and rounder with age.

Hexagons not tooo bad octagons even better but could do with a few more corners decagons? Now we are getting somewhere...

What shetz me right off the richter is the brand bagging. You are using a public forum to make negative comments about manufacturers that really can't defend themselves. How do we know you aren't working for or sponsored by a competitor.

Because my knowledge of kites is second to only my knowledge of building big buildings and just quitely between you and me working on billion doller projects pays a tad bit higher then selling tours and coffees while a pile of polyester dreams slowly deteriorates in the corner of room loosing value right before my eyes.

Do i have to tell you how much oyster shell i ask to be in my mix when pouring columns or something ? Or will you be happy if i just tell you i hold the dumb end of the tape?

Im intrested in all kites especially the ones that arent even being produced anymore but ill settle for picking over all the new ones. When i grow up to be as old as you im going to be standing in a park alone with my peter lynn arcs all layed out in a outfit that looks like i robbed a god botherer on sunday and ill wait with anticipation for some poor basterd to walk within earshot of me and ill start yelling at them about the fabric and weaves used and coatings and why. And then as they run the last thing they hear is my voice trailling off in the distance "Eefff woohhnnneee kites are shhhiiiiiiiiiitttttt"

Its hilarious that people patent such garbage but i couldnt find a single patent on google about the reinforcement of trailing edges. I just assumed the triangles were to avoid a patent. Now im more lost then what i started with.

Also oldmate zippable trousers kite clearly has never seen a paraglider fold its wingtips to decrease size and increase stability....

I have thought about adding a collapse line into a kite before looks like ozones done it with theyre 5th line foils. Yet they make countless wings with ability to tuck wing tips... Anyways im looking forward to saying goodbye to foilkites with theyre mixer system and having all the cascades directly connected to the *bar instead and therefore the opportunity to control the kite is greatly improved with all sorts of new stalls and collapses available to the rider.

With cost of lines these days pushing an 8line adaption kit will be fun but im sure the pilots among us will get into it

Robbys new injurys is pretty eye opening and can see why the windwing thing might be good for super old people if even he is nearly dieing when kitesurfing just due to frail bones and old age.

Luckily for me i wont be getting old. I wont be only falling on water im going to trees and rocks and bottles of vodka to fall into to ensure i never bleed to death due to a broken pelvis while during a photo shoot in my mid 50s...

you gotta stop this ignorant bashing of the windwing man. It is opening up some interesting options, especially for outer reef break on a Sup Foil when the wind is lightish and gusty.

Its another way to have fun on the water, plus access waves normally inaccessible unless one has a jetski of boat...and some crew and getting bloody good at using them; not just for the fat euro' surburban (should be playing lawn blows and bingo) tourist...

unhooking is just one option for a certain rider in certain conditions.

Yeah he said theyre company isnt owned by anyone. Which explains why alot of theyre designs which i think are bad got implemented. Sigma series anyone?
