would be interested in comments on how to improve video quality of the youtube posted product as there seems to be a marked decrease in quality when uploaded

I think it says it is a windows media file.
the recorder is an MP4 thing and I use windows movie maker to edit it.

the only downloaded music I have on the computer is Black Sabbath, so the choice is any music you like as long as it's Black Sabbath.

Hey RAL INN,

You may be limited to that quality if it only records in mp4 format, see if there is a way of upping the resolution within the device, then also check out the output file you select when you finish making your video, it may be set to a smaller resolution/higher compression, basically the larger the final video size the better the clarity/resolution.

Youtube doesn't really change the video quality when you upload it.

I am trying to suss aiming the camera, seems where I think i'm aiming and what the camera sees are 2 different things.

there are better quality settings but these also give less recording time.
