Heading up to Port Douglas mid week for a mates wedding. Just wanted to know whats the best place for wind readings. Is it low isles?
Any local knowledge would be much appreciated?
Thanks in advance.

If you are in Port, you are usually not far from the beach, look at the palm trees if they are moving it is usually a good indication of wind.
But ultimately, I usually do it when standing on the beach?
There is usually lots of other interesting things to look at while you are there!
If there's no wind, it's still not a bad place to be. take a book just in case.
