Hello all, new to this game and am going up to Port Douglas for New Years from SA and wonderin if its worth whippin the board and kite on plane with me? Don't know what sort of conditions this time of year etc also considering im just a newbie, and the fact that santa didn't bring me a new kite and i only have a 12m shockwave. Also are stingers a biggie? cheers in advance.

There is very little chance of any wind as it is our off season. If there is any wind forecast expect alot of rain with it. Stingers are out and about in large numbers and if you do get wind make sure you wear a full lycra stinger suit. A sting from a large box will/can kill you.
