I switched from Pivot to Slash a few years back. I ride a SB and some foiling both strapless. I'm 80kgs. The Slash is perfect for me but I think the pivot is a much more exciting/explosive kite where Slash is more functional for waves and foil. On a SB the Pivot would pull me off edge on my bottom turns and off-axis when in the air. If you're on a TT mainly plus a bit of wave riding on a SB I would stick to the pivot. I'd consider the 7m in higher winds however due to the power in this kite. I think all Naish models from 2018 had the Quadtex material which made the canopy stiffer. Cheers
