Soon, I'd say within the next 6 weeks.

Is it really more than a beginner's kite?

Very stable beginner kites generally make good high wind kites in small sizes.. well behaved and slow enough turn speed not to catch you out.

Give that Cat to an experienced rider - and watch them pull off all the big trick moves..

Kites will always be better than the riders...

shouldn't it be a V3? I thought the latest incarnation was v2 and more suited to beginners and those that just want to cruise around. V1 being the original that many people really loved.

Without being overly complicated.... I look at it like this

Light XC > Catalyst 2010 > 2011- 2012 > 2013-2014 > 2015 v>>> Enduro V1 > V2
