Hey people. When steering one handed (trainer kite).. Is there a way/techique/trick or whatever to steering away from you? What i mean is, say your flying with your right hand. When steering right i use my thumb to get leverage and push the bar right.. BUT, when trying to steer left it seems really awkward because theres nothin to use as leverage. I end up twisting my wrist into some crazy positions and finding it hard to push the bar left.. Am i missing something hear? Thanks..
I'd guess you hold your elbow up so it is parallel with your wrist out in front of you and use your elbow to make the angle change. never really though about it, but it is easier when you have the centre line running through the bar
Hmmmn, why bother going to all that effort to fly a trainer kite one handed? Its doesn't really matter! Sounds like you need to get yourself onto the real thing dude and stop overanalysing the problem.
