Hi all,

just a quick questions: I am getting a North Dice 2016 soon .

I just read about the inflation system etc. and that a 'special/ newer pump' is needed.

I was wondering whether I could use my existing Airush Pump (2015) or whether i need to get a new pump / an adapter?

Thanks for you help,

cheers,

Hi Faramirsen,

The Newer North valves will work with most pumps, it's simply a nozzle free attachment. Simply disconnect any nozzle you have at the end of your hose and it should fit in directly and nicely. However, a few pumps won't work as good simply because of a few mm of difference in the diameter of the fitting at the end of the hose. If that's the case, go to the shop and grab a North pump adapter, pictured below. They should have some at Action Sports in Balcatta.

I'm using the air rush pump with my Neos. It works fine.

I don't think your kite will fly right if it has Airush air in it?

It will work fine.
Alot of brands are using the new style of pump.

If you do feel that its not sealing as you wish, then there is a attachment with a rubber O ring.

Ask your dealer when you pick up your kites.
