Is there any good spots at noosa on a SE?

I rode up there many years ago in a NE near the bar.

Advice would be appreciated.

I'm actually heading up there this weekend so if anyone has any tips on where to go I'd appreciate it too! Hope the wind comes up, I am supposed to be demoing a board from KiteAction...

Noosa is good with any N in the wind, for southerlies if you want flat water go maroochydore or caloundra river mouths or you can do a down winder on any of the beaches

Kite Action is in Caloundra which is about 1hr drive from Noosa so you would be better off kiting in Caloundra on the SE.

lake Weyba is in Noosa....works in a s/w to an easterly....not AAA...but good for a sesh....shallow......plenty of friendly kiters most weekends around midday .....very social group here in Noosa...if you like a cold beer

Kite Action is in Caloundra which is about 1hr drive from Noosa so you would be better off kiting in Caloundra on the SE.

Aaah but what you are not aware of is the only reason I'm going to Noosa is so the missus can visit her relos... Coming from the Goldy, Caloundra is conveniently on the way (enough) and has a kite shop :D If I can convince her to "visit" Caloundra I might check out the rivermouth but I'm pretty sure she'll be wanting to head straight to Noosa!

Haha, I also have to juggle relo's and kiting this weekend - I feel your pain.
