Thanks for the suggestions. Eppo what makes the Ozone Amps good for someone who is light weight?
Ahh here is the convo"
www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Kitesurfing/General/If-your-interested?page=1My son tried the Vegas (which would be my choice - well the torch rocks to - man they are all good really) but it was too full on for his light frame. He was struggling to load and pop against its insatiable drive ... which is perfect to load and pop when you have a "normal " body weight. The amp is much more forgiving and yet provides ample slack for passing the bar and is super stable as well. etc.
he rode it once then competed with it the next day!! Intuitive C kite. Anyhow the blurb on them via the ozone website is pretty good and better at describing it than me. Emerson (current state champ and second at the last nationals - Vegas rider) had a crack on it for antmans sake and really liked it.
just think it's a good option for a lighter rider who wants to get cracking on their wake stuff. I reckon a hybrid is great for a rider who wants to do lots of things and dabble a bit into wake. Or, an accomplished C kite rider who is toning it down and wants the versatility to ride other ways themselves.
but if ya serious on concentrating and pursuing this style, get a C kite as a hybrid will seriously hold you back.
