Why you using polyester resin?? IF you have invested in other premium materials such as the carbon fabric, why not use epoxy too?
Cost and yellowing We used for bagging boards due to bamboo and basalt mesh These boards are light and strong still using after 3 seasons But we could make 3 boards hand lamb to 1 epoxy bagged I would like to return to epoxy but still looking for clear and well priced and consistency in its make up and not yellowing and bluming Ect

It's been out for a while SP 115 was around 20 years ago - wasn't cheap though.
John Gillis from CET Technology; who pioneered shaping machines, epoxy sandwich construction in windsurfers and is now on the Sunshine Coast developed it..... and has passed on the formulas to Barry Bennett and Dion Chemicals.....
Honestly don't think that it would make the board feel any different as far as stiffness. That would be where the blank, stringer, laminate influences....
It should make it stronger and less prone to breaking.
Epoxy is less brittle, so if anything it could make it slightly less stiff? IMHO
Yes we used CET epoxy 3 years ago yes it was nice and clear but we had major problems with boards going brown not yellow ?? When salt water entered through damage to board also issues with plumming between layers and change of owner ship the epoxy was not constant in mixture ??? But that was 3 years ago
Have listen to above comments and used CET epoxy again ,hand lam , and very happy with results Lighter aprox 2.1 klg and stronger with 6oz bottom and top and additional 6oz at feet area Thanks for advice ????
