Nationals Freestyle/Racing & Rails Jam

The Australian Kiteboarding National Titles will take place in tropical North Queensland at Alva Beach, one of Australia's best Kiteboarding locations (80 kilometres south of Townsville). Kiteboarders will gather over the long Easter Weekend and compete at Alva Beach for the national titles in Freestyle, and for the very first time, in RACING.
We have also added a Rails and Kickers Jam to the event with at least 3 Rails/Funbox.

Good food and drinks will be available all weekend.
A free music festival from 7-10pm with a Main Stage for 9 awesome bands in Reggae, Rock, Aussie HipHop, Punk, Alternative and Funk.
5 DJs and VJs will be playing under full moon and palm trees on our Beach DJ stage will rock on after the main stage finishes at 10pm.
XXXX Summer is bringing up their SUMMER Dude DJ V-Dub to play tunes during the day.

A KB4 Girls pro event will be held at Alva prior to the Nationals from 19/04-22/04.

How to get there :
Townsville Airport 60 minutes from event site, Buses will leave on Friday morning
Organizer will arrange a pick up service at various times throughout the days leading up to the event and returning to the TSV Airport.
Times will be notifed in advance.

What day will the actual competition start? (Fri, Sat, Sun??) I need to arrange my flights so that I can get there on time.

Hi Shan,
Sign on/Rego is Friday (22/04) from 9am to 1pm. We will have at least 3 buses going from Townsville Airport to Alva between 9am and 12pm.

If you go to the KB4 Girls camp then you can come either on 18th or 19/04.
