Mutants - why no second hand for sale

Mutants have never been very popular but many sold.
I would like to own LF Moon Landing or similar just so I can say I've done that.
As such do not want to pay new price so who has one no.longer used?

Perhaps they are second boards that go into the closet of cool sb an TT guys that secretly get them out of the closet and use them when no one is watching so they can still maintain their cool strapless sb or boosting TT image?

More likely not many sold and those that buy them hold on to them (or hide them in the closet as you say) and do not want to be reminded of their spend regret.

I would love to have one but couldn't justify would hardly ever use it don't even own a TT anymore.

Liquid Force Moon Patrol Mutant - anyone know if there is any difference between a 2017 and 2019 other than colour?

Well as a result of this thread looks like I could have this choice.
So just wondering if there is a difference as looking to buy tomorrow .

Tested the Moon Patrol Mutant to day
Clearly it replaces my TT but not SB.
So excellent compromise .

Or if you're like me find riding toeside on a twinnie much more fun, used to use Cab customs for their banana rocker, tried a 2017 tronic but it did not overly impress me.. something about trying to be surf stance but feet too close together and cannot change stance too limited etc.

I just bought one of your kites so looks like I made a mistake as I do not fit your target market .

Truth is, you'll buy one as you've seen some bloke on a video ripping it up in a pristine spot, unfortunately you don't have such conditions, but you've been bedazzled by the video and go ahead and buy one, you use it a couple of times and go f#ck it doesn't go as well as I thought and I'm not as good as that bloke in the promo, so gets put back in the deepest depths of the kiting bad purchases pile , wishing someone was honest with you

If you don't try you don't know. I think there's a bunch of guys ripping around on sb's in crud conditions because it's cool and not trying a mutant because its uncool that could benefit from some mutant weirdoness

Friend ' BT ' did the strap setup and works well giving great flexibility in foot position and angles.
Not sure why mutants have pad setups now.
My first session was excellent so keen to further adjust to this beast with the red stripes.
Will the Ozone be an equal to my Cloud kite used on my first session??

Yeah that's the thing that threw me off mutants, the fixed pads. I like the idea of straps.

Looks nice! They come complete with straps, probably why you don't see many with deck grip like you have done.
