I'll be speaking with the guys at the local rum distillery about attending the beach party on Friday to kick things off, Illegal tender have been winning worldwide awards for their rums and we will offer group tours and tastings at the local distillery, the local pubs will cater for those who wanna go hard over the wknd

If it's anything like Bundy, looks like the Friday night will be fight night.

Yo, actually working on it as we chat, meeting with shire/ Slsc, police, etc etc
big downwinder planned from 7 mile to flatrocks inc return coach travel
beach party/ sundowner with
bbq/ paella ,music/ band dj and frostys
big air comp
waves expression sessions
on beach demos from your major brands
film night at the open air cinema ,Kite/ocean / eco theme,
gear prizes/ raffle
course race possibility to add
all this will be approx $180 which includes an event shirt cap, water bottle etc, $60 of this is for insurance with ka or waksa, so if your insured already that's deducted, if you just wanna come up and hang out and pay nothing that's fine, Keep your eye on sb and Midwest windfest Facebook as we will be ramping things up in the next week or so through to the event, plenty have booked into the top tourist caravan park already, this is at the spot , we will post rego and exact costs , it's a non for profit gig, hope to see you up here

ill do a full list next week as im getting costings in as we speak, its a non profit gig so feel assured were not in it for the money, last year from memory we just about broke even in incomings and outgoings, so was great to see an event could self fund itself with a bit of help from infigin energy wind farm, cheers mick

Live music paella evening overlooking the denison marina

Fun comps / prizes/raffles
Daily bbq breakfast inc healthy breakfasts
We want to make it a chilled fun event for all levels, nothing over regulateds so a great chance to get away meet new kite budddys and have a run on all your latest equipment,

A couple more. There were plenty of people on the beach with the wind cross on at around 20 knots.

Saturday Arvo about to head off on the Downwinder. Thanks heaps to Mick and crew for putting on another GREAT event. It was good to catch up with crew i hadn't seen in a while. Good Times were had :)
