Kiteboard Australia worked really hard to get the laws reversed for us. As far as mambo goes. You need atleast event insurance m pretty sure. KA or your state equivalent can supply that

It's a great event and as above re insurance You can get online from KA you may get KA insurance there if they have the facilitie

Definitely no life jacket required unless kite more and 400M offshore and alone. KA lobbied NSW Maritime to roll back the law to what it was prior to the last review of lifejacket laws for NSW a few months ago.
