Was down at Mullaloo today and two blokes decided to launch a trainer kite right in front of my family and others.
I explained to them that they should move down to where the kite surfing area is (and why) - they were not happy about this what so ever, they did however move 50 metres down the beach where there were no people.

As I am unaware how trainer kits fall in to the whole situation re Mullaloo I did not press them to move to the kite surfing area.

So my question is - can trainer kites be used on the whole beach? (I asked them to move as it was of my opinion that if there was an incident it would be a "kite" incident and could cause us to loss Mullaz.

Glad to hear they did the right thing and they moved on to where it was safe.
BTW. Flying a toy / trainer kite and being a kitesurfer are not the same, though.

Yeah, I agree but I bet the Mullaloo User Group wont see it that way if something goes wrong!
