Kiting at Ballina today, waiting for next squall to blow up,, wind finally arrives and am having a good session,, wind and waves!

Then....

Heading out and a big set comes my way, beat the first one, 2nd one just managed to get over but launched big time! Fell badly, heard my ankle go 'crack',, then felt the pain,, thought 'bugger'. Ditched the board and body dragged back in,, then crawled up the beach,, hit the safetly (RPM,, works well) and hopped over and secured kite.. Problem,, bag 100m up the beach,, board 100m down the beach! Thanks to the mum and son team that helped me out,, would have been a LONG hop to get kit back...

Best thing was xray showed NO BREAK! Yeehaa,, be back n riding in a week or so!
