Hey everyone!
Just moved to Sydney 3 days ago and now I just can't wait to ride the spots here!
But I don't have a car yet and I don't know anyone here who does kitesurfing so I am looking for a kite buddy or just a lift from Rose Bay to the spot of the day this week (I am available everyday at any time)!

We have a pretty good crew here

Sydney is pretty limited for kiting and banned at most local beaches (& harbour), botany bay is probably the most popular spot, otherwise Cronulla or northern beaches.

Happy to be corrected, but when I go up there I just bring a surfboard. I have heard of kiters sneaking out in late Bondi sessions. I have rarely seen the wind exceed 20kn,

Hmmmmm, agreed, hence my retraction and profound apology now. Extenuating circumstances led me to a momentary lapse of thoughtfulness. Was way over the top nonetheless :)

I live in Woolloomooloo, moved rcently to Sydney as well. I have a car for 1 month now.

I usually go kiting during weekends, but if the conditions are good during weekdays, I can manage that as well.

Hi CB,
Funny enough I did the same when I moved to Sydney 4 years ago on this forum. I had two kiters actually come pick me up in Greenwhich to go kiting. That was awesome. Still mates with them today.... even though one is a twintipper Rory
