Yeah I've had the 8 Edge conversation a few times lately Cauncy. I agree with beefing them up a little too. I patched a couple of small holes on both kites a few days back. I love the 7 in 35-38 knots but it does drop your arse if the wind dies mid boost.
Any word on a release date for the 8 Intheloop?
IntheLoop jumped the gun a bit there, but his lips and mine are sealed on the release date simply because we don't actually know and we are not allowed to say even if we did know.
I can confirm the new model size range will be 5 6 7 8 tel:9 10 11 13 15 17 and 19m.
Thanks, the desire to put out a 5 as well is interesting, that must be an incredibly small market, either for very light weight riders or the average rider in extreme winds? Now that's an interesting proposition.
Anyone who knows there edges will tell you as the sizes decrease the less refined they become, the 7 in big winds is a real handful a 5 in its current shape would be very twitchy,
So I'd say it's been re designed in this size, I've had the 7 out a few times in over 40knt nw fronts , not sure what winds a 5 could cope with
