Has anyone ever been / heard of someone being hit by lightening whilst kiting?
Not that charged energy you get kiting in some storms but propped burn mark on kite etc.?

Here is a very old post, apparently, highly unlikely. I would be more worried about being hit by a 60 knot microburst than lightning!!

Not a Kiter but good reason to pack up early rather than later when a storm approaches ....
