Left my kites in the car. Super hot day. Now I have 3 kites with peeled valves.

What's the best way to peel off the old valve, pull, blowdryer then pull?

Then to glue them back on I was going to use stormsure.

Thoughts?

sounds spot on to me, be careful when you glue it back together not to glue the bladder together

could try using hot water to completely remove the valve and glue, then prep it with alcohol wipes, then replace with new stick on valves.

Old mate above is on it.

Hot water in a cup. Put bladder nipple in cup for a few seconds, then carefully peel off (try not to stretch bladder too much). Clean bladder and rough a little bit with some fine sandpaper. You can then stick the same valve back on with "Sweeda" glue, or any good clear vinyl glue.

I've done a ton of old Fuels in the past like this, they never leaked again after.

p.s. This is a Best kite isn't it?...

p.p.s. If they were properly welded on a hot car wouldn't have this effect.

No worries man, hope you get back out there soon! Least if you stick them back on well it shouldn't happen again.

Man my last batch of razors were pigs. Was so disappointed in the quality.

I'm moving away from full c kites tho. Going to try something a little different.
