Can anyone please recommend where I can get the leading edge bladder in my kite repaired in Perth?
I need to get it done before the WAKSA downwinder on sunday coming.

North of the river preferred as I won't get a chance to head south of the river this week.

OK, so if nothing north of the river, anywhere will have to do me.

Recommendations please?

AKS can do bladder repairs for almost any damage to any kite. Best option is to remove the bladder yourself and take the bladder only in to them.
Refit the bladder using some yellow tongue floor board joiner, a 1M ruler, basically any long flat semi rigid strip, that you could tape a bladder to and push through the leading edge. Do not use rope or kite line or any sort of line to pull the bladder back in - you will get twists.

That's the problem though, I damaged the bladder putting it back in, I was almost done and made a stupid mistake which ripped the bladder.
Was hoping I could get it repaired and put back in by a professional.

Thanks for the recommendations all.

I was resigned to having a go doing the repair myself as I wasn't sure about getting it done on time and actually getting to south of the river.

Since I had to duck out of work, I headed out to the nearest shop to me, Airborne, to buy a tear-aid kit, well two to cover myself for further stuff ups.

I mentioned to Damo that I had the kite in the car and asked him for a bit of advice on the tear.
He had a look and decided to fix it for me on the spot, after which he pumped up the kite to make sure the bladder had no twists in it, and showed me a few things to check in regards to replacing leading edge bladders.
All off his own back!

So this is a big shout out to Damo, you are champ, really helped me out and the extra unexpected service was much appreciated.

Enjoy the beers mate

Neil doesn't repair bladders but he can outsource the bladder work. If you need it in a hurry, drop in to a shop that does the repairs on site like AKS, SOS and Airborne.
