I suggest you monitor the wind forecast for phuket and sabang/pulau weh (bandar aceh). The wind is now predominantly westerly with the occational sourtherly(sww) / northerly(nww). If theres wind on both places, theres wind in Langkawi.

Also, dont kite on the southern part of the island. Really gusty and not much room to launch/land (unless you do a water launch/land).
