for sure it can be gusty depending on wind direction.
But a good SE'er kicks in most evenings. So if a Seabreeze in happening in Melb then there is a funneling effect through the Kilmore gap that kicks in a 17-20kt SE'er than comes up from the Twin rivers end and it becomes solid 10m-12m wind.
