Yes. Take a big kite and board. They get distinct seasons when the wind comes one direction or the other, and I cant remember which July is. Major spots are Nathon, the Orchid, and the north beach of the island at Mae Nam.

Get a car and be prepared to go when the wind is up. Watch out for squalls :D
