My husband and I are considering a Jan /Feb trip to New Caledonia. Can anyone that has been there comment on how many windy days we would expect to get and how many knots. Our may purpose of the trip is to kite so if the wind is unreliable we'd rather spend the extra cash and go to Brazil where the wind is cranking that time of year.

No idea about New Cal, but Feb is well outside the windy season in Brazil.
