Hey guys,
anyone else come accross that pod of dolphins on Saturday in Carrum? I was slightly south of the bowls club and all of a suddon I was surrounded by them, jumping out of the water less then 2 metres from me. They started following me around which kinda freaked me out cause I could see the black shadows in the water just under my board. It was a incredible experience and I would have stayed with them if I knew it was safe for them and me. I was afraid I was going to hit them with my board, piss them off and get bitten by them :)

I had this happen to me before Xmas. Didn't notice them till they were a few meters away and yep, they do follow you, its normal, they often do it while sailing they jump up around the boat.

I was so stoked , definitely up there in the awesome memories.

I was out at bon beach on sunday and kited up to the patterson river where i saw two small sharks not man eaters only about 1.5 metres but the bon beach life guards said there's been heaps hangin round lately
