Guys & girls,

As Kitestock 2012 rapidly approaches, the WAKSA committee is looking for ideas & suggestions about possible themes for the weekend.

Last year we used 'Carnival' and by all accounts that worked really well. This year, we want some member input and feedback.

Please post ideas here or if you'd like to keep it confidential, post your idea(s) to waksa@waksa.org.au.

All ideas considered, ultimate decision made by the WAKSA committee. If your idea is chosen, we'll comp you and your partner free tickets for KS 2012...remember - Kitestock 2012 is from Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th January 2012.

With Kitestock falling on Australia Day Weekend wouldn't an all out Australian Theme be appropriate...............not sure what that would be though???

Australian 'legends' could be iconic movies, music or best dressed bogan. look at when the A'day was established 1935, maybe a historic theme in that or a set period of time

I'm just getting lazier about 'dressing up'!

....so perfect right? Those who want to concentrate on kiting and chillin' can do so. Those who want to make the extra effort and come dressed as a saucy meat pie or wearing nothing but vegemite (strategically placed) can do too!!

Simple, entertaining, chilled and chicks in bikinis all night... Drink out of coconuts and eat roast pig from the spit. Hawaiian shirts are easy to get from 'Lowes'.

Large Sombrero (and Corona's) to cool the suns rays by day.

Ponchos, moustaches ,Margaritas, tequila and Arriba arriba's at night.

To keep the sponsors happy, winners can entertain the crowd by smashing the prize out of a decorated Pinata.
