Mate....a tip.
If this was shot with a GoPro...which it seems like it was go to bunnings and get yourself a long arse extention pole for window cleaners etc. theyre like 10 bucks.
unscrew the head and a drill a 3/4 inch hole into the tope then pop the screwy top bit off, bang a 3/4 inch bolt into it and get a gopro tripod mount. Best investment of your life....the reason for this is...GoPro have a terrible depth of field at long distance due to their Fish eye lense. So when something is far away...its looks even further with a go pro. Fish eye only looks good(great) when your subject is within 2 or 3 metres from you. The closer the better with GoPro's. They were designed to be held very close so you could film yourself. If you've got your long arse pole then your camera person can stick it out a good 3 or 4 metres without having to get too close to you but still capturing a great shot.
Also, lick the lense. It'll stop water from settling on the lense.
Dave.
I will definatly look into making one of these, i made one for snowboarding and had good fun playing with it, but i will make one more water proof and give it a go!
