So I saw the below video in the news section and I saw that Nick had a back up shoot.

Just throwing it out there but who will be the first to boost 300m, un-hook, let go and base jump. Its got to happen hey?

Kite to BASE through towing up would be lame, as is Nick's stunt. Kite to BASE has already been done from a balloon years ago using a Naish kite.

Much more cool would be BASE to kite. I would like to see that.

We actually need a national plebiscite on "tow ups". And I vote NO. ????

What would be really cool is get a guy in a wingsuit, add some bridles and kite lines, and use him as a kite in about 40 knots. I'd like to see that.

I would get so angry if someone looped me a couple of times and then just pulled the safety to land me on hard packed sand.

Question: does using your mate as a kite change the right of way rules? I mean am i kitting him or is he parasailing me? If I'm the kite is there a expectation that I can self land? Lastly who puts the sand ontop?

They're doing over 100mph in a wingsuit and still dropping like a brick. You'd need a bit more than 40 knots.

Even better. Add more wind. Maybe swoosh them around to generate a bit more apparent wind.

The newer high performance suits can go a lot slower than 100 mph but I wouldn't want reality to influence a good stunt.

Buy local, --
I was up for a WOO - with this..
Setting the scene, moderate wind at start - 12M and 6'surf board.. Basically I had an itch to scratch - some wind got to try
By Kilometer 3 it was getting tough wind dropping 10-14 knots
so - walk or flog the dog?? Car at the 7.5 km mark - straight line - surf could do some damage.
and then a miracle happened for 2+ kms check it out Just flying 120M peek awesome..

Of course I got back to base just fine - but who wouldn't with this sort of lift
I will try a bit harder next time - go for 250m+
Thought I should post this on-line then it would become fact not just a bug..
Merry Xmas hope U get your sleigh cranked too!!
