Hey all,
I've just moved to Yeppoon, I'm an avid kiter of 3+ years and looking for some mates to shred the bay with! Tried to contact the local shop without success.

Check this group out man.

Learnt and spent my first 10 years kiting in yeppoon, plenty of awesome spots to check out, you'll love it as long as the winds blowing!!

dont kite to xxxx island with a ****ing cargo carrier as a sled full of food and ****, the sharks will think your draging a big ass tuna.

one of the best?!?! what are you high?!?! i had to buy a 13m kite for yeppoon how is that one of the best flatwater spots?!?

please tell me your talking about at the back of zilzie near macgregor island that little dog beach one...not infront of the sailing club where everyone kited for god knows why

Yessss, these are the responses I was hoping for.
No, I didn't know Yeppoon was so epic and flat but after watching it blow 15+ over the bay steady for the past month I'm convinced.
My Wife can resume her role as kite widow once again!

Had a quick visit to Yeppoon before Christmas. Didn't get to Sandy point I think it's called, but had a couple of nice sessions all to myself at the Causeway, was like kiting on glass.

Yeh causeway is sick, but sandy is 100x better. There is a cool log at the causeway that's fun to slide up.

actually i didnt kite theyre. it was 30+ minute drive and i was allready comeing from rocky and only had a 2wd >_< damnit

STILL its the same bloody wind
