Harder to film surf kiting, I reckon thats why there is less.

More elements to get a good shot. No point filming when its one foot mush.
Need longer lenses, instead of kiter being 5m away he is 100m. So this rules out Gopros.
This means more expensive gear and more knowledge to use it.
Also harder to film surf kiting from water. Instead of kiter throwing trick perfectly in front of camera, in the surf the guy with the camera needs to be able to read the wave and know where to sit.
