Folks, just wanted to give a shout-out to the guys involved with the Kite Mag.

Received my first copy (Issue 26) a few days ago and am really impressed. I do hope those guys manage to keep getting funding to continue.

It's a great magazine for sure!

Too glossy. I prefer the old Tracks format and I miss Captain Goodvibes

And the content is flimsy... "white space" all over the place. What's wrong with a few more words?

I read the entire mag in under 10mins.

Well some of us read words and don't only look at the pictures...

Here's my opinion:
Photos are top drawer.
It's nice being able to read an article and formulate my own opinion on what's being said without the content being diluted with **** comments from others.
A magazine is not meant to keep you eternally entertained.
The design layout is uncluttered - I like that.
Quality paper - I like that.
People have taken time and made an effort - rather than the stuff we're fed online.

I did not mean this thread to be a discussion - it's my opinion that they did a great job on this issue and thought I'd let others know that they may also like it.

How long between issues? 6months? Nah, my money is worth too much on a few words and big glossy pics for 15mins worth of drool.

I often pull out an old kiteworld mag,
I've over 70 issues and I've read them heaps of times and constantly go back to them ,
Always got a few in the toilet for a read,
Jim the editor put me on an app version
For free , I just don't bother now it's just not the same

I skipped the lot and went to the chicks knicker and bra section, I spent more than 10 mins on those pages I'll tell you
Spring summer catalogue was better than autumn winter

i remember first time i got on cover of a magazine i lost my little mind and showed everyone i could albeit just the back of my neck hahahaha family being family spent the next 5 minutes flicking thru the magazine saying OH LOOK THERE YOU ARE AGAIN!! and pointing to any picture with the back of someones neck in it. ..... and no it was not a dirty magazine SUGGESTING SO will hurt my feelings and ill be forced to cry to the moderators and have your posts removed! and banned for 2 weeks! just kidding go ahead unlike the rest of you sunshine moonlight cupcakes i honestly couldnt give a fairy bread of a cookies croissant what you say about me. its called being an adult. and not a princess snowflake
