I can't for the life of me understand why there's been no mention of the Safety Bay Kite Karnival on here.
The organisers/volunteers did an excellent job. I turned up not knowing anyone and not really understanding the details of it all, but it didn't matter, everyone was helpful, and I had an awesome time. And there was half a dozen photographers present so there's photos all over the web.
Big thanks to everyone involved.
Hope it happens again next year.

Was a superb day, well organised (big turn out) and plenty of young groms ripping hard as well. Even had safewave their with a jet ski and all the gear to ensure a really safe environment on the water.
Kiters of all abilities, ages and styles just having fun. Was sick watching Ewan Jasper laying down his stuff as well between the activities.
