Anyone ever had a session at jaws ?
Just asking what's the best month to go there
Contemplating putting it on bucketlist
How far offshore is it ?..
..and 7/8m ok ?

P.s no..not 72ft

It's not very far offshore, perhaps a little more than Margarets. You'll need a jet ski or a mammoth upwinder to get to, as there is no beach to launch from.

Our summer is best for swell.

Is it a 2/3km tack or 7km ?
Also assume it could be a 8m type place
?

Also..are there any rocks or hazards jutting out downwind such as MR bommie slab that u have to peal off before...
And is there an 'escape route' downwind ??...

And do u know if Patrick mclaughlin(?) (72ft) had straps ?

All cliffs downwind of Jaws for a while. The local guys love their straps there.
