I noticed over the weekend (we have 10-12 maybe 14knots tops), I was using the 2:1 overdrive system on my Cabrinha and it was set to the highest bar pressure possible. But because it "restricted" me pulling the bar in too much (chocking the kite), I was able to keep the kite powered as best possible and tack a few times. It was great. Not knowing - I parked the kite, changed the bar to low pressure, but it hardly had any power and kept stalling.
So high bar pressure helps in not chocking a kite in light winds?
